May 15, 1882 – The Knights of Columbus was founded in New Haven Connecticut by Fr. Michael J. McGiveny
October 15, 1905 – Our Council was Organized at session in Odd Fellows Temple. The first Grand Knight of the Council was Charles H. Maloney. The Council served the parish of St. Vincent de Paul.
1960? – The Council started serving the parish of St. Thomas the Apostle.
December 1994 – The Christmas Food Basket program was started by Benny Wiercioch and served 40 families in Elkhart.
