Brothers,
It may come as no surprise to you but there are Brother Knights that are unemployed and actively searching for job opportunities. We are trying something out to help our Brothers by sending emails to our Council membership of 400+ Knights.
What we are asking is that you keep an ear open for job opportunities that fit the background and/or job being sought - whether it is at your place of employment or through someone you know. It is through the Knights that I came to find out about a job opening three years ago at my current place of employment - though I was employed at the time elsewhere.
I will have a sepage page called "Job reference" for any leads that Knights may send so I do not plaque people with emails.
With this, there are some rules:
1. I will NOT distribute resumes to everyone. I will only indicate the requestor's name, a brief description of their background and type of job being sought, and how to contact them. If I have a resume, I will indicate "can be sent on request" and will forward to you if interested.
2. I will NOT request for a job opportunity for a Knight that is unemployed unless they contact me (or an officer) and specifically request the Council to ask the membership. I apologize, but I cannot assume that just because someone is unemployed that they are looking for work even though I know of several.
3. All the Knights will receive this type of email request. I apologize but I cannot selectively exclude people from the mailing list unless I exclude you entirely from all email communications. For those who may not wish to receive this type of email, I will use the same subject "Knights - Job Wanted", so you can do as you wish with it and delete without reading further.
4. I ask that you contact the requestor if you know of an opportunity or have a question about the requestor. I will not endorse or reject any requestor nor give any opinion of them. I?m just a tool making networking connections between Knights.
5. I will not publish person's name or any personal info on the website.
Thank you.
God Bless.

Prayer to St. Joseph:
Glorious St. Joseph,
model of all those who are devoted to labour,
obtain for me the grace to work conscientiously,
putting the call of duty above my many sins;
to work with thankfulness and joy,
considering it an honour to employ and develop,
by means of labour,
the gifts received from God;
to work with order,
peace, prudence and patience,
never surrendering to weariness or difficulties;
to work, above all,
with purity of intention,
and with detachment from self,
having always death before my eyes
and the account which I must render of time lost,
of talents wasted,
of good omitted,
of vain complacency in success
so fatal to the work of God.
All for Jesus,
all for Mary,
all after thy example,
O Patriarch Joseph.
Such shall be my motto in life and death.
Amen.
